When Raylinc was asked to assist with the upgrade of lighting throughout Roma Street Parklands, a number of the existing materials were able to be recycled. All of the existing poles were refurbished and reinstalled with 50W LED We-ef RFL luminaires. The new fittings perform better than the previous metal halide fittings despite having 100W less power. Lower wattage translates to lower running costs, this coupled with recycled poles made this job very cost effective for all involved.
This is an example of how cost effective and environmentally sustainable solutions are always incorporated given the opportunity. In the years since Raylinc has supplied a number of different projects at Roma Street as the Parklands develop.
