Southport’s Broadwater Parklands is a world class community & recreational area used daily by Gold Coast residents. The parkland spans three kilometres, making lighting efficiency a top priority.
For the expanse of the footpath the primary luminaire used was We-ef’s PFL pole mounted area light. FLC projectors and ETC floodlights were used to light the playground, architectural features and bus station.
The carpark makes use of back to back We-ef PFL area lights mounted two per pole. Not only does this produce a larger distribution it also minimises pole costs.
