In Focus: The Linea Light Node System

When lighting plays a defining role in both the function and character of a space, flexibility becomes more than a luxury: it becomes essential. The Linea Light Node System, now available through Raylinc, delivers exactly that: a modular 48V lighting solution that adapts to virtually any architectural context with elegance and precision.

Designed in Italy and engineered for creative freedom, the Node System offers a level of customisability that empowers designers, architects, project managers, and venue owners to shape light around structure – not the other way around.

A Modular Approach to Modern Lighting

At the heart of the Node System is its modularity. Whether suspended, ceiling-mounted or wall-integrated, each component is built to connect with precision and speed. Linear diffused modules, comfort optic cells, adjustable spotlights, pendant fixtures, and the ultra-flexible “Rubber_O” element can be mixed and matched to create tailored lighting layouts.

These components click together with an intuitive assembly mechanism, secured by grub screws and powered via Pogo Pin contacts. This eliminates complex wiring and allows for clean, compact installations that are easy for anyone to adapt, extend or reconfigure setups across the life of a project.

The system is also DALI2 compatible and supports a wide range of dimming protocols, giving lighting designers full control over intensity and mood.

Performance Meets Visual Comfort

For commercial environments where both efficiency and user experience are critical – think offices, galleries, retail fit-outs or cultural venues – the Node System’s Comfort micro-cell modules deliver exceptional glare control. With the right design and installation strategy, light levels will remain pleasant and productive, even over long periods.

Single and double-emission versions are available, enabling both downward and indirect uplighting from the same module. This versatility allows designers to accentuate architectural lines, expand the perception of space, and enhance comfort without visual clutter.

With colour temperatures ranging from 2700K to 4000K and high CRI90 values, the Node System also meets the demands of high-fidelity applications, such as museum displays or hospitality interiors.

Designed for Dynamic Spaces

Modern architecture rarely sticks to flat surfaces – and neither does the Node System. With 360° rotation across light modules, multiple joint types, and a wide array of connectors, Node can turn corners, bridge voids and follow slopes with ease. The system’s unique “multiple rose” junction allows up to eight modules to connect at a single point, opening up new possibilities for sculptural or three-dimensional arrangements.

Need to light a grand atrium, a curved hallway or a multi-level stairwell? Node adapts. And with its sleek black or white finish options, it fits just as comfortably into high-end residential builds as it does in civic infrastructure or commercial towers.

Built for Scale

From boutique fit-outs to skyscrapers, the Node System can scale with your project. Its track modules support up to six luminaires per 1748 mm segment, while the optional Rubber_O module (available in lengths up to 10 metres) delivers continuous, 360-degree diffused light with architectural flow.

Node is equally suited to static displays and high-traffic environments thanks to robust construction and secure, tamper-resistant fittings.
